Additionally, it is mandatory that you have received a notice from the settlement administrator with a unique ID and PIN. If you haven’t received notice, and you believe that you have received unwanted or unsolicited text messages, you can file a claim by postmarking.

What is required to get the payout from this settlement?

To get payment from this settlement, it is mandatory that an individual who meets the eligibility requirements file a claim form by the deadline. The due date for which is January 7, 2026. Note that the administrator will accept your claim form only if you have provided all the details accurately.

At the time of filing the claim form for this settlement, make sure you provide the details to get the payment via direct deposit, because choosing the paper check may delay you unexpectedly. If you want to file the claim form online, make sure you file it at least a week before the due date.

How much will be received from this settlement?

The total settlement fund is $2.85 million, out of which $20,000 is going to be deducted for the administration costs. The attorneys’ fees and expenses are likely to be $854,236.80, the service award to the class representative is likely to be $10,000, and the remaining amount will be distributed among the claimants.

The amount you are going to get from this settlement depends on your claim; for each unwanted and unsolicited text message you received from the company, you will get the amount of $48. If you have received 10 messages, you can get up to $480.

The payment is going to be received on a pro rata basis, i.e., the payment is going to be distributed among the class members equally for each message. If the number of claim forms is more than expected, the payout amount will be smaller, whereas if it is less than expected, the payout amount will be bigger.
