The Mukhyamantri Maiya Samman Yojana is a financial scheme launched by the Government of Jharkhand that provides financial assistance to women in the state. The objective of this scheme is to empower women financially so that they can help with their household expenses.
Under this scheme, beneficiaries receive an amount of ₹2,500 every month, which is administered by the Department of Women, Child Development & Social Security. So far, 15 instalments have been released under this scheme, and women are eagerly awaiting the 16th.

Important Notes:
- Under this scheme, the 16th instalment will only be received by those women whose names are on the beneficiary list, and it is mandatory that they have completed their KYC (Know Your Customer) verification.
- Another requirement for receiving this payment is that the woman’s bank account must be seeded with her Aadhaar number. This is because Aadhaar seeding of the bank account is necessary to receive DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) payments.
16th Instalment Date
The Department of Women, Child Development & Social Security, Government of Jharkhand, has not confirmed any date for releasing the 16th instalment. It is highly expected that it will be received most probably in late December 2025; the official confirmation is still awaited.
Eligibility Criteria
To get the Mukhyamantri Maiya Samman Yojana benefit, it is mandatory that you meet the following requirements:
- You are a female who is an Indian citizen and resides in Jharkhand.
- Your age shouldn’t be below 18 years and above 50 years.
- Your income shouldn’t be above ₹2.5 lakh, for which you must have an income certificate issued by the state’s local authority.
- You must have an Aadhaar Card and an account in any bank, and they must be seeded.
- You have already registered for the Mukhyamantri Maiya Samman Yojana and completed KYC.
Payment Amount
The 16th instalment amount for the Mukhyamantri Maiya Samman Yojana is going to be the same as the previous one; that means all the beneficiaries will get the amount of ₹2,500. Note that there is no increase or change in the benefit.
Beneficiary List
The beneficiary list for the Chief Minister Maiya Samman Yojana is available on the scheme’s official website. To check the list, you need to provide basic details such as your Aadhaar number and mobile number. If your name appears after entering these details, then there is no problem.
If you have already applied for this scheme and your name is not on the beneficiary list, there’s no need to worry. You just need to complete your KYC verification. For this, you need to visit your nearest Common Service Center. Just remember to take your Aadhaar card with you.
DBT Status
The DBT status for the Mukhyamantri Maiya Samman Yojana can be checked through the UIDAI’s website. To check it, one is required to log in with the Aadhaar Number, for which the mobile number linked with Aadhaar is required.
