• You must be living in the country and hold Singaporean citizenship. 
• You must be aged 21 and above in the reference year, for instance, for the December 2025 payment, the reference year is 2026; hence, you should be aged 21 or above in 2026 to receive the upcoming payment. 
• The Singaporean who has dual citizenship will not be eligible for the benefit, so if you wish to receive it, you should contact the immigration and Checkpoints Authority to address the citizenship issue. 
• The income threshold for the AP Cash payout is $39,000; however, the payment will reduce if you earn above the threshold.

The AP Cash payout depends on the property ownership and the assessable income of the households in the reference year. The Singapore government has announced the AP  cash payout from 2023 to 2027, where the payout was different or the same annually. 

For the disbursement period 2026, the government has announced the payment, and the recipients can receive a payout between $100 – $600 under the AP Cash payout. The total AP cash to be processed in the 2023 – 2027 period would be between $700 and $2250.

The AP Cash payment will be done through three payment modes, where the payment mode will determine your payment date. The AP Cash recipients will receive the payment through the following payment modes:

• PayNow-NRIC-linked bank account: If you have linked PayNow-NRIC with your bank account, you will, by default, receive your payment. This payment mode will process the payment earlier, by 05 December 2025. 
• Bank Credit: If you have not linked PayNow-NRIC with a bank account, the authority will process the payment to your registered bank account by 16 December 2025. The bank crediting option is allowed for the POSB, DBS, OCBC, or UOB bank accounts. 
• GovCash: If you neither have the PayNow-NRIC linked to a bank account nor a bank account, you can expect the payment through GovCash by 22 December 2025. 

What can delay your AP Cash Payout?

• If your eligibility for the AP Cash payout is reassessed, you can expect your payment to be delayed or processed until the assessment is done. According to the government guidelines, you can expect the payment within the next 2 months. 
• Your wrong bank account details or inactive bank account can delay your AP Cash payout. 

The authority will send an SMS to your Singpass-registered mobile number with no web links or a letter to your NRIC address when the payment is processed, so you will be updated on your payment; hence, do not fall into the trap of any scammers.
