The Canada Disability Benefit is a federal monthly income-support programme under which working-age residents get monthly payments from the Canada Revenue Agency. It is received through an opted gateway from the direct deposit and paper cheque.

What’s the payment date?
The payment for the CDB for November 2025 and December 2025 will come to eligible Canadians on time. The CRA is all set to send the payment for November 2025 on the 20th of the month, and for December 2025, it will come on the 18th of the month.
If you get this benefit via direct deposit, you will get this payment shortly after the release; and in the case of a paper cheque, you have to wait for 3 to 4 days to receive it. In case of technical error or workload, the payout may be delayed by a week or even more.

How much will be received?
The payment amount for the CDB varies from one another for each individual. The maximum you can get between the period of July 2025 and June 2026 is $2,400; the highest you can get in a month is only $200.
The payment of $200 is received by individuals only if their income isn’t above a certain threshold and meets additional requirements. In case of exceeding the income limit, the payment is reduced gradually.
Note that the income threshold for individuals and couples is $23,000 and $32,500, and the first $10,000 and $14,000, respectively, from the working income is totally exempted. The reduction rates are:
- Singles: 20¢ reduction for every $1 above $23,000.
- One-eligible couple: 20¢ reduction for every $1 above $32,500.
- Both-eligible couple: 10¢ reduction for every $1 above $32,500.
Who is eligible for payout?
The payment for the Canada Disability Benefit 2025 for November and December is going to be received by those individuals who are regular beneficiaries and/or recently applied to get the payment under this programme.
If you have recently applied to get the CDB payment, you will get it only if your application is accepted. If it is still under review or they have rejected your application, you aren’t going to get this payment.

- Under the section of Most Requested, click on the ‘Disability Benefit’ option.
- Find and click on the option that reads ‘Login’, and go to the login page.
- Log in with your CRA user ID and password to access the dashboard.
- Click on ‘Payment Details’ to check the details about the last payments you received and upcoming ones.
What if payment is delayed?
The CDB payments will be sent by the agency on time, and they do take some time to receive. Delays occur when there are issues, whether related to eligibility or something else.
If your payment gets delayed, it is better to contact CRA; upon contacting, you will be provided with information regarding why you have not received your payment till now.
If there are any issues with your eligibility, you may be asked to provide the required documentation. Once you provide these, your payment will be released.
