The Child Benefit is a regular payment from the H&M Revenue Customs to help people who are responsible for raising children; like every month, beneficiaries of this benefit will receive their payment for November 2025.
If you are one among those who are getting this payment regularly, note that they have confirmed the date on which you will get it. Here, you will get to know when you will get it, how much it will be, and much more.
HMRC Child Benefit November 2025: Payment Date
The HMRC releases the Child Benefit payment once every four weeks. Many UK residents who get this payment will receive their payout in November 2025 as per schedule. The payment date for each varies; it is usually received on Monday or Tuesday.
To find out when your payment in November 2025 will be received, you need to add 4 weeks to the date on which you got the October 2025 payment. In the ongoing month, many have already received it on the 2nd, 3rd, 10th, 11th, 17th, and 18th; many are yet to receive it on the 24th and 25th.
If your previous payment, i.e., October 2025, was received on the 27th and 28th of the month, you will get your November 2025 payment on the 24th and 25th of the month, respectively. If you get the payment via bank transfer, you will get it shortly after its release.
HMRC Child Benefit November 2025: Payment Rates
The HM Revenue & Customs has announced the payment rates for the UK Child Benefit. For the tax year 2025/26, the maximum payment rate for a single child is £26.05 for a week; for each additional child, the weekly amount is increased by £17.25.
The UK Child Benefit payment is affected by different factors, which include the number of children, income, and family situation. If the income is above the threshold, between $60,001 and $80,000, the beneficiary needs to repay it through the tax return.
If your income threshold is above $80,000, you need to repay the full amount. The amount you are going to get depends on how many qualifying children you have; in case of only one, you are all set to get the payment of $104.2.
HMRC Child Benefit November 2025: Eligibility Criteria
To receive the UK Child Benefit payment, it is mandatory that an applicant meet the eligibility criteria. These requirements are
- You are responsible for a child who is under 16 or under 20—if approved for full-time education or training.
- The child must be a resident in the UK, and he or she isn’t subject to immigration restrictions that prevent access to public funds.
- During the application process, you have provided a child’s birth certificate, adoption papers, if applicable, visa or immigration documents, if required, and school/training details, if the child is between the ages of 16 & 20.
Your application will be accepted only if you meet all the above requirements. Note that income doesn’t affect the payment, but if it exceeds the threshold, you may have to repay a portion or the full benefit.
HMRC Child Benefit November 2025: Delay Reason
The payment for the November 2025 HMRC Child Benefit can be delayed in case of any problem with the details one has provided to the officials to get the payment, and the second or the main reason can be any problem with your eligibility; in case of lack of required documents, you may face a delay.
Despite being an old beneficiary, if your payment is delayed, you are required to get in touch with HM Revenue & Customs. It is better to visit the nearest office instead of dialing a call or texting/mailing. They will explain to you why your payment is delayed.
